This are pictures I shot while making a timelapse sequence. I went with my skis slightly below the peak „Zamangspitze“ to shot the passing clouds. Suddenly a skier went past me and began the ascent. Wiesbadner Hütte

Time to reactivate the blog after six months absence! To long time ago since my last post. Hey, it’s (still) summertime now. So here some warm pics from the Alps. Including the highest peak in Vorarlberg. Biz Buin.

On The Border

Last Monday I made a short tour to the St. Antönier Joch at 2379m. It’s exactly on the border between Switzerland and Austria (in the mountains of Vorarlberg). Really easy to go and a great view. Overnight In The Mountains

Here some impressions from my recent skitour with the Draco-Volans Team to the Klostertaler Umwelthütte at 2362m. We started our tour at about 5:00 PM – like so many times – from the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe reservoir at 2037m. Afer crossed the frozen sea we went right to the Klostertal. We started our tour at about 5:00 PM – like so many times – from the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe reservoir at 2037m. Afer crossed the frozen sea we went right to the Klostertal. Before we arrived at the alpine-hut the moon already comes up and illuminated the mountains like a spotlight. Because it was freezing cold (-30°C) and the alpine-hut was a self catering – there was cold too. Not that fine, so turn on the woodstove quickly!

After some warming up with tea at the stove we went out to take some night-shots.
The next day greeted us with sunshine and a beautiful view. Out into the nature!
