Here some impressions from my recent skitour with the Draco-Volans Team to the Klostertaler Umwelthütte at 2362m.
We started our tour at about 5:00 PM – like so many times – from the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe reservoir at 2037m. Afer crossed the frozen sea we went right to the Klostertal. Before we arrived at the alpine-hut the moon already comes up and illuminated the mountains like a spotlight. Because it was freezing cold (-30°C) and the alpine-hut was a self catering – there was cold too. Not that fine, so turn on the woodstove quickly!
After some warming up with tea at the stove we went out to take some night-shots.
The next day greeted us with sunshine and a beautiful view. Out into the nature!

Cheers!
